Location: Corpus Christi, TX
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a well-established healthcare team serving patients in the Corpus Christi region. This position offers the opportunity to provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a variety of inpatient and outpatient procedures. Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures in collaboration with physicians and surgical teams.
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, including reviewing medical history, medications, and potential risk factors.
- Develop individualized anesthesia plans tailored to each patient’s medical condition and procedural requirements.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed throughout procedures to ensure optimal safety and comfort.
- Provide post-anesthesia care, including recovery assessments, airway management, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with hospital and state regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all anesthesia safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Participate in continuing education programs to maintain certification and remain current on emerging anesthesia practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to promote a culture of patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas.
- Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience providing anesthesia care preferred; new graduates will be considered.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to function independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach.
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Full-time, onsite position based in Corpus Christi, Texas.
- Standard day shift hours with rotating call coverage as needed.
- Hospital-based setting with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes.
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $197,000 – $250,500 a year ($95.00 – $120.00 per hour), based on experience.
