We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join a growing healthcare-focused organization based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This hybrid position plays an important role in maintaining daily technology operations and supporting internal users across multiple departments. The role is ideal for a technical professional who enjoys solving problems, improving system reliability, and supporting teams in a structured, fast-moving environment.
The ideal candidate is a dependable and service-oriented IT professional with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. You are comfortable supporting end users, resolving technical issues efficiently, and communicating clearly across all levels of an organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to internal staff across hardware, software, and network systems
- Respond to and resolve user-submitted support requests in a timely manner
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations and related equipment
- Support standard business applications and operating systems
- Assist with troubleshooting connectivity and system access issues
- Maintain accurate records of equipment and system updates
- Escalate complex issues to senior technical resources when necessary
- Support periodic system updates and maintenance efforts
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth technology operations
- Contribute to improving internal support processes and documentation
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or technical training in Information Technology or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of professional IT support experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Working knowledge of desktop operating systems and common business software
- Basic understanding of networking concepts
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple requests in a structured support environment
- Willingness to provide occasional onsite support as needed
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Full-time, hybrid position based in Pittsburgh, PA
- Combination of remote work and onsite support
- Standard business hours with occasional flexibility based on operational needs
- Professional office and home office environment
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $58,000 – $72,000 annually (approximately $27.88 – $34.62 per hour), based on experience.
Interview Process:
