Location: Boise, ID
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Operations Supervisor to lead a team within a fast-paced pharmacy services environment in Boise, Idaho. This onsite leadership role is responsible for supervising pharmacy technicians and operational staff while ensuring timely, accurate prescription processing and strong service performance. The position plays a key role in driving productivity, maintaining compliance standards, and supporting a collaborative team culture.
The ideal candidate brings strong operational leadership experience within a pharmacy or healthcare services environment. You are comfortable managing performance metrics, coaching team members, and stepping into production when needed. You understand prescription workflows and thrive in a structured, metrics-driven setting.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily pharmacy operations and oversee technician workflow
- Monitor queue volumes and reallocate work to maintain service levels
- Conduct quality checks and ensure adherence to internal processes and compliance standards
- Provide real-time coaching and performance feedback to team members
- Lead regular one-on-one meetings focused on productivity and development
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff
- Maintain accurate timekeeping and documentation records
- Step into operational production during peak periods or staffing gaps
- Partner cross-functionally with leadership to align performance expectations
- Review performance metrics and identify trends impacting service delivery
- Support rollout of new systems, workflows, or operational changes
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with regulatory and internal policy requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a structured, performance-based environment
- At least 5 years of experience within pharmacy operations, healthcare processing, or related service-based setting
- Experience managing team performance metrics and operational reporting
- Strong working knowledge of prescription workflows or healthcare processing systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change and shifting priorities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communicator with the ability to manage frontline teams
- Comfortable operating independently while maintaining cross-functional collaboration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Operations, or related field
- Familiarity with pharmacy compliance and regulatory standards
- Experience leveraging dashboards and operational performance tools
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Full-time onsite role located in Boise, Idaho
- Monday through Friday
- Operational hours may range between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM MST
- Structured, team-oriented production environment
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $78,000 – $100,000 annually (approximately $37.50 – $48.08 per hour), based on experience.
Interview Process:
