Job Description
Location: Greensboro, NC (Community-Based Role)
We are seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care and clinical support in a community-based setting. This role focuses on patient assessment, education, coordination of services, and ongoing monitoring to ensure safe and effective care delivery outside of traditional inpatient environments.
This position requires strong clinical judgment, independence, and the ability to manage patient needs across varying care settings.
The ideal candidate is an experienced RN who is comfortable working autonomously, educating patients and caregivers, and maintaining thorough documentation. You are organized, dependable, and able to prioritize effectively in a field-based role.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and document findings accurately
- Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding prescribed treatments
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor patient condition and report significant changes appropriately
- Maintain updated care documentation
- Coordinate care activities with internal teams and providers
- Address patient questions and resolve concerns in a timely manner
- Participate in assigned on-call responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with state nursing standards and organizational policies
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted North Carolina RN license required
- Current North Carolina driver’s license required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Infusion or IV therapy experience preferred
- Strong patient education and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in home-based settings
- Excellent clinical documentation skills
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Full-time field-based role
- Flexible weekday schedule
- Participation in on-call rotation required
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $75,000 – $125,000 annually (approximately $36.06 – $60.10 per hour), based on experience.
Interview Process:
