  • Monitor regulatory changes at federal and state levels and communicate impacts to pharmacy leadership
  • Coordinate with legal counsel on regulatory inquiries, inspections, and reporting obligations
  • Deliver annual compliance training and maintain documentation of staff education completion
  • Manage the controlled substance monitoring program including DEA audit preparation and Schedule II-V accountability
  • Oversee HIPAA risk assessments and ensure pharmacy-specific privacy and security controls are in place
  • Coordinate mock inspections and survey preparation activities to maintain continuous accreditation readiness
  • Track compliance metrics including incident rates, training completion, and audit finding closure rates
  • Support pharmacy license renewals, permit applications, and regulatory filings across all operating jurisdictions
  • Serve as the primary contact for state board inspectors, DEA investigators, and accreditation surveyors

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; PharmD a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmacy compliance, regulatory affairs, or healthcare quality
  • Deep knowledge of DEA regulations, state pharmacy law, HIPAA, and pharmacy accreditation standards
  • CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance) or similar credential preferred
  • Experience with compliance management software and audit tracking systems
  • Strong investigative, analytical, and written communication skills
  • Experience managing state board and accreditation survey processes
  • Ability to develop and deliver compliance training programs for diverse pharmacy staff

Schedule:

  • Full-time position
  • Standard business hours
  • Standard full-time hours per pay period
