Location: Orlando Metro Area (Onsite)
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Pharmacy Operations to lead pharmacy programs across a growing healthcare organization supporting outpatient, specialty, and community-based services. This senior leadership role is responsible for setting operational direction, strengthening compliance frameworks, and ensuring pharmacy services are delivered efficiently, safely, and at scale.

Responsibilities:
- Provide executive oversight for pharmacy operations across multiple outpatient and service-based locations
- Establish standardized workflows, policies, and procedures to support consistency, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Lead medication management programs, inventory controls, and purchasing strategies across the organization
- Ensure compliance with Florida Board of Pharmacy, DEA, CMS, and USP <797>/<800> requirements
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing pharmacy team through structured leadership, development, and accountability
- Partner with clinical, operational, and finance leaders to align pharmacy services with organizational growth goals
- Oversee departmental budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives
- Guide the selection, implementation, and optimization of pharmacy technology platforms and automation tools
- Monitor performance metrics, quality indicators, and operational KPIs to drive continuous improvement
- Represent pharmacy leadership in organizational planning, audits, and strategic initiatives
Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Florida
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy (Bachelor’s degree required; PharmD preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmacy leadership experience within outpatient, specialty, or multi-site pharmacy environments
- Strong working knowledge of pharmacy regulatory and compliance standards
- Demonstrated success managing teams, budgets, and complex operational initiatives
- Experience supporting organizational growth, service expansion, or new program implementation preferred
- Familiarity with 340B programs, specialty medication workflows, or pharmacy automation systems is a plus
- Proven ability to lead through change with strong communication and strategic planning skills
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $120,000 – $155,000 a year (approximately $57.70 – $74.50 per hour) based on experience.
Interview Process:
Selected candidates will participate in a multi-step interview process, which will include an initial screening with TalentLNX, interviews with pharmacy and executive leadership, and a final onsite interview with key stakeholders.
