  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response plans
  • Perform risk assessments for new system implementations, third-party integrations, and vendor connections
  • Support audit readiness for SOC 2, HITRUST, and regulatory security assessments
  • Partner with EHR and clinical application teams to ensure secure configuration of patient-facing systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field required

  • Minimum of 3 years of IT security experience, preferably in a healthcare or regulated environment
  • Experience with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or GCP healthcare environments
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Sentinel, or QRadar, as well as firewalls and endpoint protection tools
  • Working knowledge of the HIPAA Security Rule, NIST 800-53, and HITRUST CSF frameworks

Schedule:

  • Full-time position
  • Fully remote within the U.S.
  • Monday through Friday, standard business hours (CST)
  • 40 hours per week

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is approximately $90,000 – $125,000 annually ($43.27 – $60.10 per hour), based on experience and qualifications.
