Job Description
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Community-Based Role)
We are seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to provide advanced clinical support to patients receiving specialty therapies in home and outpatient settings. This role involves direct patient care, therapy administration, patient education, and ongoing monitoring to ensure safe and effective treatment outcomes.
This position requires strong clinical judgment, independent decision-making, and the ability to manage patient needs across varying care environments.
The ideal candidate is an experienced RN who is comfortable working autonomously, has strong assessment skills, and demonstrates confidence supporting patients with complex medication regimens. You are organized, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and evaluate response to prescribed therapies
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Provide education and support to patients and caregivers
- Monitor patient condition and communicate changes appropriately
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Coordinate care with internal teams and prescribing providers
- Support continuity of care during therapy transitions
- Participate in assigned on-call coverage
- Maintain professional nursing standards and licensure requirements
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Current CPR certification required
- Experience with advanced medication administration preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in community-based environments
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Full-time role
- Combination of community visits and clinical site support
- On-call participation required
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $82,000 – $120,000 annually ($39.42 – $57.69 per hour), based on experience. Compensation is determined by clinical background, role scope, and market alignment.
