Job Description

Location: Houston, TX

Position Overview: We’re looking for a strategic and people-focused HR Business Partner to join our client’s team in Houston, TX. This hybrid role is all about building strong relationships, providing expert HR guidance, and helping leaders align their teams for success. The right person will take a proactive, hands-on approach to employee relations, talent development, performance management, and HR policy implementation, ensuring a positive and productive workplace. Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing HR guidance and support on all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and address employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
  • Partner with the talent acquisition team to support recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
  • Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
  • Interpret and apply HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
  • Support organizational change initiatives, including reorganizations, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions accordingly.
  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on employee relations and business partnership.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) preferred but not required.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $90,000 a year.
