Mail Order Pharmacy Operations Supervisor

Location: Cincinnati, OH

We are seeking an experienced Mail Order Pharmacy Operations Supervisor to oversee daily workflow within a high-volume pharmacy fulfillment environment. This onsite leadership role is responsible for supervising pharmacy technicians and operational support staff while ensuring accurate prescription processing and timely direct-to-patient delivery.

This position plays a key role in driving productivity, maintaining compliance standards, and supporting a structured, team-focused production environment.

The ideal candidate brings prior leadership experience within pharmacy operations or healthcare distribution. You are comfortable managing workflow, coaching team members, and resolving operational challenges in a regulated setting.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily mail order and OTC pharmacy workflow
• Lead pharmacy technicians and inventory support staff
• Monitor production volumes and adjust staffing to maintain service levels
• Address escalated operational or process-related issues
• Support pharmacists in prescription fulfillment workflow as needed
• Ensure adherence to state, federal, and internal regulatory standards
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and manage performance expectations
• Maintain staffing coverage and daily operational planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support department alignment
• Promote consistency, accountability, and operational efficiency across the team

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician License required
• National Certification (PTCB or CPhT) required
• Prior leadership experience as a Team Lead or Supervisor
• Experience within pharmacy fulfillment, mail order operations, or healthcare distribution
• Strong working knowledge of prescription workflows
• Proficiency navigating multiple systems and basic reporting tools
• Effective communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supervising operational or healthcare support teams
• Familiarity with regulated healthcare production environments
• Experience managing performance metrics

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Full-time onsite role located in Cincinnati, Ohio
• Monday through Friday, standard business hours
• Occasional weekend or holiday support as operational needs require
• Structured, production-based environment

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $60,000 – $85,000 annually (approximately $28.85 – $40.87 per hour), based on experience. This role may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
