Location: Scranton, PA
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our clients pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Scranton, PA. This role is integral to the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products and requires a commitment to excellence, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, regulated environment and possess a strong focus on compliance and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production processes.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to mix, assemble, or package pharmaceutical products.
- Perform in-process quality checks to ensure products meet regulatory and company standards.
- Accurately record production data and report any deviations or equipment malfunctions.
- Conduct routine cleaning and calibration of manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety protocols, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for audits and inspections.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including quality control, supply chain, and maintenance departments.
- Assist in the training of new team members to uphold production standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., science, engineering, or manufacturing technology) is preferred.
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, food production, or a similar regulated industry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with GMP, FDA regulations, and cleanroom environments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in basic math and computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $40,000 – $55,000 a year ($19.00 – $26.00 per hour), based on experience.
