Manufacturing Technician

Location: Scranton, PA

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our clients pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Scranton, PA. This role is integral to the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products and requires a commitment to excellence, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, regulated environment and possess a strong focus on compliance and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production processes.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to mix, assemble, or package pharmaceutical products.
• Perform in-process quality checks to ensure products meet regulatory and company standards.
• Accurately record production data and report any deviations or equipment malfunctions.
• Conduct routine cleaning and calibration of manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety protocols, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for audits and inspections.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including quality control, supply chain, and maintenance departments.
• Assist in the training of new team members to uphold production standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., science, engineering, or manufacturing technology) is preferred.
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, food production, or a similar regulated industry is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with GMP, FDA regulations, and cleanroom environments is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in basic math and computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $40,000 – $55,000 a year ($19.00 – $26.00 per hour), based on experience.
