Job Description

Location: Dallas, TX

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Compliance Coordinator to join our client’s team in Dallas, TX. The Pharmacy Compliance Coordinator will ensure that the pharmacy operates in full compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. This role involves auditing, monitoring, and providing guidance on compliance issues to maintain operational excellence and mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and a commitment to upholding ethical standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of pharmacy processes, documentation, and facilities.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to support compliance efforts.
  • Identify and address compliance risks, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy leadership to implement training programs on compliance standards and updates.
  • Maintain records of compliance activities, including audits, investigations, and incident reports.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and accreditation organizations during inspections and audits.
  • Stay informed of changes in pharmacy laws and regulations and communicate updates to the team.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support compliance initiatives and pharmacy operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in pharmacy compliance, pharmacy operations, or a related role.
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy software and compliance management systems.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $55,000 –  $70,000 a year based on experience.
