  • Prepare and verify specialty orders, reviewing reconstitution, lot numbers, and labeling accuracy.
  • Package medications per cold-chain protocols, selecting materials based on temperature stability and transit requirements.
  • Coordinate with couriers to schedule deliveries, arrange signatures, and resolve failed delivery attempts.

Qualifications:

  • Maintain active CPhT certification (PTCB/NHA) or Texas Pharmacy Technician registration required; national certification preferred
  • Demonstrate 2+ years pharmacy technician experience; 1+ year specialty, mail order, hub, or PBM preferred
  • Execute prior authorization workflows, benefits investigations, and patient assistance program enrollment across payer types
  • Understand specialty drug classes (biologics, injectables, immunomodulators, oncology agents, REMS-restricted); LDD channel knowledge preferred
  • Master pharmacy management software (QS/1, PioneerRx, ScriptPro, Rx30); resolve insurance adjudication and rejection issues
  • Maintain exceptional accuracy in data entry, order verification, documentation; manage multiple competing priorities in high-volume queue

Schedule:

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday
  • On-site in Dallas, TX
  • Day shift with occasional Saturday coverage
