Job Description

Location: Mesa, AZ (Greater Phoenix Area)

We are seeking a Pharmacy Retail Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of a retail pharmacy environment. This role is responsible for managing front-end pharmacy operations, supporting staff performance, and ensuring a high level of customer service while maintaining compliance with applicable pharmacy regulations.

This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who can balance operational oversight with team support, while contributing to a well-organized and efficient pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily retail pharmacy operations to ensure efficient workflow and strong customer experience
  • Supervise and support pharmacy staff, including scheduling, training, and performance oversight
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering to maintain appropriate stock and minimize shortages
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and display of retail and over-the-counter products
  • Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations, including privacy standards and state requirements
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with pharmacists to support accurate and efficient prescription processing
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe retail environment
  • Track sales performance and assist with inventory control and loss prevention efforts
  • Support promotional activities and in-store initiatives to drive customer engagement
  • Assist with operational reporting and basic financial tracking related to retail performance
  • Promote a team-oriented environment focused on service, accuracy, and efficiency

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2–5 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting required
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with pharmacy systems and retail workflows
  • Understanding of inventory management and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
  • Pharmacy-related certification (such as CPhT) preferred
  • Active Arizona pharmacist license required

Schedule

  • Full-time, onsite position
  • Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays as needed

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is approximately $95,000 – $115,000 annually ($46.00 – $55.00 per hour), based on experience and qualifications.
