Job Description

Location: Round Rock, TX (Field-Based with Regional Travel)

TalentLNX is hiring a Field Reimbursement Manager on behalf of a leading healthcare organization focused on expanding access to specialty therapies. This full-time, field-based role supports provider offices across the region by improving reimbursement outcomes and navigating complex payer systems. The ideal candidate brings strategic insight, payer fluency, and hands-on experience supporting buy-and-bill products within oncology or specialty care.

This opportunity is perfect for professionals who thrive in a cross-functional, fast-moving environment and are passionate about solving real-world access challenges for patients and providers alike.

Responsibilities:

  • Provider Liaison: Serve as a primary reimbursement resource for regional provider accounts, revenue cycle teams, and care coordinators.
  • Access Strategy: Deliver targeted education on payer coverage criteria, claims submission, prior authorization workflows, and appeals processes.
  • Patient Services Integration: Support adoption of co-pay programs and patient support services tailored to individual site workflows.
  • Issue Resolution: Partner with internal market access and hub teams to triage escalations and ensure timely resolution of reimbursement barriers.
  • Account Monitoring: Track utilization trends, payer changes, and patient access roadblocks; escalate insights to internal leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Contribute to field insights, strategic account planning, and payer policy feedback to support broader organizational goals.

Work Environment:

This is a high-impact, field-based role within a collaborative and mission-driven organization. The work culture emphasizes adaptability, integrity, and results—rewarding professionals who can think critically, act autonomously, and advocate effectively on behalf of providers and patients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in field reimbursement, market access, or patient services
  • Prior experience in specialty care, oncology, or buy-and-bill environments
  • Strong working knowledge of payer reimbursement models, prior authorization, appeals, and coding workflows
  • Familiarity with aggregate accounts, GPOs, or specialty pharmacy distribution models is a plus
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 75% as needed

Schedule

  • Full-time, field-based
  • Monday – Friday standard business hours
  • Flexibility required for regional provider visits and business travel

Salary Range: Compensation for this role ranges from $130,000 to $150,000 per year (approximately $62.00 to $72.00 per hour), depending on experience and qualifications.

Interview Process:

  • Initial Screening – TalentLNX Recruiting Team
A 20–30 minute introductory phone call to discuss your background, access-related experience, and what you’re looking for in your next opportunity. We’ll provide more detail about the role, clarify expectations, and ensure alignment on factors like compensation, travel, and team structure.

  • Second-Round Interview – Hiring Manager (Market Access or Field Leadership)
A virtual interview focused on your experience with payer navigation, provider engagement, and resolving access barriers in the field. You may be asked to walk through scenario-based questions that reflect real challenges faced by the team.

  • Final Interview – Cross-Functional Panel
A virtual or in-person meeting with key stakeholders from Market Access, Sales, and Patient Services. This final step is designed to confirm mutual fit, assess your strategic thinking, and evaluate collaboration style across teams.
