Job Description

Location: Remote (US-based)

We are hiring for a Member Advocate, Medicare Advantage with a national health plan managing a large book of Medicare Advantage members across multiple regions and benefit structures. This position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a panel of assigned Medicare Advantage members with scheduled proactive outreach
  • Conduct outreach to members with open quality and care gap measures
  • Explain plan benefits, coverage options, and supplemental benefit programs clearly
  • Assist members in scheduling PCP visits, specialist referrals, and preventive services
  • Coordinate transportation, DME, and pharmacy support through plan-funded resources
  • Document each member interaction in the care management platform within the same business day
  • Escalate high-acuity or recently discharged members to clinical care management
  • Support annual enrollment and plan-of-care review processes for assigned members

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a healthcare customer service, care coordination, or member services role
  • High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
  • Familiarity with Medicare benefits and Medicare Advantage plan structures
  • Strong phone communication and accurate documentation habits
  • Comfortable navigating multiple systems and platforms simultaneously
  • Bilingual English and Spanish a strong plus

Schedule

Fully remote within the US. Standard business hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional flex scheduling for member availability.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is approximately $40,000 – $55,000 annually ($19.23 – $26.44 per hour), based on experience and qualifications.
